I grew up in Austin, Texas and I moved to Chicago about two years ago. I am currently seeking my Joint JD/LLM in Information Technology and Privacy Law at John Marshall Law School.
I have a need for an adventure, a love for languages and new cultures, a desire to learn new things, and a love for life. I used to write regularly another blog entitled Life, Love and Laughs which chronicled my undergraduate experience at the University of Texas. I stopped regularly blogging when I entered law school because I found I didn't have enough time or energy to blog. Looking back on it, my former blog is one of my most favorite things to read and reminisce about. My previous blog allowed me to capture memories and moments that I would never have the opportunity to remember otherwise.
Needless to say, I have decided to start this blog as a tribute to my last year in law school and my new life in Chicago. I chose the name "Very Truly Yours, Jessica" because the law firm I work for always signs their letters "Very Truly Yours". I thought it was fitting that this part of my life should be signed this exact same way since many of the people I love and care about are thousands of miles away and the easiest and most convenient way to keep them up to day on my life is a blog signed "Very Truly Yours, Jessica". (Like a letter that they can read and reply to at their convenience.)
So, I hope you continue reading and you know I care about you all very dearly. You are with me even thousands of miles away.
